The North Wind 60 is a substantial offshore cruising yacht with the volume, comfort and capability expected of a true long-range passage maker. With classic lines, solid construction and a functional layout, she offers an excellent balance of liveaboard comfort, practical deck space and serious ocean-going ability.

Her exterior presents as a capable cruising yacht with wide teak side decks, a secure centre cockpit, substantial stainless rail work, protected helm station, bimini/solar structure and well-organised sailing hardware. The cockpit is spacious and practical, offering excellent visibility, comfortable seating and a safe working layout for coastal cruising or extended bluewater passages. A tender on davits adds further practicality for cruising and anchoring away.

Below deck, the yacht has a warm and inviting traditional timber interior with a quality nautical feel throughout. The saloon is generous and comfortable, with rich varnished timber, cream upholstery and excellent natural light. The galley is well equipped for extended cruising, featuring ample bench space, a huge amount of refrigeration, cooking facilities and storage. A dedicated navigation station with B&G electronics gives the vessel a proper offshore command centre.

Sailing this vessel seems daunting at first but it's truly a breeze. Auto-pilot, Navigation, Bow thruster and anchor winch is all operated from the helm. Unfurling the sails is all push button operation with 5x self tailing electric winches and electric in mast furling. Launching the large tender on the aft stainless davit is also simple with the hoist system operated from the electric winches allowing for single handed operation. Huge amounts of storage in the aft lockers and throughout the cabins are stacked with every conceivable spare you'll need to embark on a trip anywhere in the world. Self sustainable with solar power and extensive, state of the art electronic management makes this beautiful yacht the ideal candidate for remote liveaboard anywhere in the world.

She is equipped with two tenders and a full deck cover for shade in the tropical locations around the equator. Aircon to the saloon and master cabin keeps the boat cool and dry at the same time.

Just antifouled, propspeeded, polished and cleaned, she is ready to go for new owners. A new bimini is also currently being made to cover the cockpit.
